CAPM WBS, Work Packages, and Traceability

Study CAPM WBS, Work Packages, and Traceability: key concepts, common traps, and exam decision cues.

This chapter makes predictive scope structure readable. CAPM often tests whether you can move from vague scope into decomposed work, clarify what each work package really means, and preserve the connection between approved needs and later validation.

Use these sections in order. Start with decomposition and WBS logic, then move to work-package detail and the WBS dictionary, and finish with traceability as the control path that keeps requirements aligned through delivery and acceptance.

These questions are usually easier once you ask three things in order: is the scope decomposed enough, is each package defined clearly enough, and can the team still trace approved needs through build, test, and acceptance. The strongest answer usually fixes the earliest weak link instead of jumping ahead.
