Overview of what DAC tests, how the exam is structured, and how candidates should approach preparation.
Use this page for a compact orientation to Disciplined Agile Coach (DAC) before you move into the syllabus, study plan, or practice routine.
Current status: PMI announced that DASM, DASSM, DAC, and DAVSC exams were available only until November 30, 2025. As of April 24, 2026, treat these pages as historical and renewal-support guidance, not active new-exam booking pages.
DAC was PMI’s Disciplined Agile coaching credential for professionals who coach teams and organizations through DA adoption, stakeholder engagement, mentoring, facilitation, and guided transition. PMI states DAC exams ended after November 2025 and the lane merged toward Disciplined Agile Leadership learning.
Historical ECOs used 50-question online exams for DA credentials, but PMI retired new exam access after November 30, 2025. Verify renewal-only status and replacement learning paths with PMI.
Read the credential as a decision framework. The stronger answer usually identifies the real problem, chooses the method that fits the situation, explains the tradeoff, and names the next action. Avoid treating the exam as a vocabulary-only target.
Vendor exam pages change. Before booking, confirm current availability, prerequisites, exam delivery, passing score, language availability, renewal rules, and permitted materials directly with the official vendor.
