PSM-AI Essentials Practice Drills

PSM-AI Essentials practice guidance for scenario reading, calculations, written responses, answer discipline, and readiness checks.

Use this page when you want to move from reading into scenario selection and guardrail judgment. Practice is strongest when you review misses as Scrum failures, weak transparency choices, or unsafe AI adoption choices.

When practice is most useful

  • start with short topic drills after reviewing the syllabus map
  • use mixed sets only after your Scrum-guardrail, transparency, and human-review logic is stable
  • revisit the Cheat Sheet after each short set, especially when misses cluster around the same AI-in-Scrum decision pattern

Readiness check

Before you lean heavily on drills, you should already be able to explain:

  • why AI remains a tool inside Scrum rather than a new accountability
  • how transparency, human review, and policy boundaries shape the stronger answer
  • why safe experimentation is stronger than fast but uncontrolled rollout

If those explanations are still weak, review the PSM-AI Essentials exam guide or the Cheat Sheet before pushing volume.

What to practice in sets of 10 to 20

Practice focus What you should be testing
Scrum accountability questions whether you can keep AI inside existing Scrum roles instead of inventing new authority paths
transparency and review questions whether you can spot when human review, visible usage, or explicit disclosure is the real issue
guardrail and policy questions whether you can tell when privacy, IP, security, or compliance boundaries must shape the answer
experimentation questions whether you can support learning without weakening validation, oversight, or product integrity

What to log when you miss

  • Did you weaken Scrum accountabilities in the name of AI efficiency?
  • Did you ignore privacy, security, IP, or human-review guardrails?
  • Did you choose novelty over evidence and validation?

What to do after a weak set

If misses cluster around… Go back to…
accountability and role confusion the Scrum-role sections in the Cheat Sheet
transparency and human-review misses the transparency sections in the Cheat Sheet
policy, privacy, or security guardrails the guardrail sections in the Cheat Sheet
experimentation and validation logic the experimentation sections in the Cheat Sheet and Syllabus

If the same miss pattern repeats twice, stop doing more random questions and repair that one decision rule first.
