PSM II 30-day study plan for advanced Scrum Master coaching, accountability traps, empiricism, impediments, and scenario practice.
Use this Professional Scrum Master II (PSM II) 30-day plan to move from Scrum Guide recall into advanced Scrum Master judgment. Shorten the early map-building days if PSM I is recent; extend them if your answers still make the Scrum Master the fixer.
Read the Overview and Syllabus. Make a short list of the PSM II decision areas: Scrum Master stance, event purpose, team development, Product Owner support, organizational impediments, and empiricism. Your goal this week is to recognize what the Scrum Master should and should not own.
Work through advanced Scrum Master judgment, facilitation, coaching, impediment removal, empiricism, and organizational change. For each topic, write one sentence explaining how the Scrum Master improves transparency or learning without becoming the decision owner.
Use Practice for Scrum Master scenarios. After each missed question, tag the error as event-purpose error, accountability error, impediment-level error, coaching error, or empiricism error. Rewrite the answer in one sentence: “The Scrum Master should help make ___ visible so ___ can inspect and adapt.”
Finish with the Cheat Sheet as a trap list, not as a vocabulary list. Rehearse why an answer is weaker when it makes the Scrum Master a boss, turns events into status meetings, replaces the Product Owner, or hides organizational impediments.
Confirm current Scrum.org assessment details with Resources. Use external practice only after you can explain why the better answer protects Scrum accountabilities and empirical control: PSM II practice and exam prep.
