AIPGF Practitioner Exam Guide

AIPGF Practitioner guide with exam overview, syllabus map, study plan, cheat sheet, FAQ, resources, and practice support.

This page is the start-here hub for the APMG AI Project Governance Framework (AIPGF) Practitioner exam on PMExams. Use it when you want a scenario-first reading pass instead of jumping straight into quick-reference pages.

Practitioner level assumes you already know the Foundation language. The real challenge is applying the framework under pressure: reading the scenario correctly, tailoring governance proportionately, assigning the right roles and controls, benchmarking maturity, and choosing the strongest next implementation step.

APMG currently presents Practitioner as a closed-book exam built around four scenario-based questions worth 80 marks in total, with 40 marks needed to pass. It also presents Foundation as a prerequisite. That makes weak memorization habits expensive. Stronger answers diagnose the governance problem accurately and respond with proportionate, evidence-based action.

Best reading order

  1. Study Plan if you want a short structured path
  2. the five main chapter blocks when scenario interpretation still feels shaky
  3. Cheat Sheet for high-yield review
  4. Practice for scenario drills and weak-set repair
  5. FAQ, Resources, and Glossary when you need policy, terminology, or official links

Use this hub to sharpen one thing above all: whether the answer is the best immediate governance action for the scenario, not just a true statement about AI governance.
