PMI-CP practice guidance for scenario reading, calculations, written responses, answer discipline, and readiness checks.
Use this page when you want to move from reading into construction scenario drills and document-based decisions. Practice is strongest after you can already explain why a contract, change, or evidence path is stronger than a shortcut.
Before you lean heavily on drills, you should already be able to explain:
If those explanations are still weak, review the Overview or the Cheat Sheet before pushing volume.
| Practice focus | What you should be testing |
|---|---|
| contract and delivery model questions | whether you can match risk and decision rights to the structure |
| claim versus change scenarios | whether you can separate entitlement, notice, and scope logic correctly |
| interface and documentation issues | whether you can spot where ownership and records really fail |
| governance and approval questions | whether you know when a commercial decision requires threshold-based approval |
| If misses cluster around… | Go back to… |
|---|---|
| claim versus change confusion | the claims and change sections in the Cheat Sheet |
| notice or entitlement misses | the contract-clause and claims logic in the Cheat Sheet |
| interface and ownership misses | the interface sections in the Cheat Sheet |
| governance threshold confusion | the governance sections in the Overview and Cheat Sheet |
If the same miss pattern repeats twice, stop adding more question volume and repair that one decision rule first.
