PMI CSPP P5 Impact Analysis

Study PMI CSPP P5 Impact Analysis: key concepts, common traps, and exam decision cues.

P5 Impact Analysis is the largest PMI CSPP domain, with a published weighting of 35.6%. It deserves the most deliberate study time.

This chapter teaches how to interpret impacts across product and process lenses, then connect those impacts to people, planet, prosperity, materiality, reporting, and closure. The exam is unlikely to reward a vague statement that a project is sustainable. It is more likely to ask which impact is material, which stakeholder is affected, which evidence is missing, or what the project manager should do before reporting a result.

Use this chapter as the core of your CSPP preparation. If you can explain P5 analysis mechanics, lens selection, materiality, and people-planet-prosperity tradeoffs in scenario terms, many governance and communications questions become easier.
