PMI CSPP 30-Day Study Plan

A structured PMI CSPP 30-day study plan with reading order, review loops, practice timing, and final-week priorities.

Use this plan to sequence CSPP study across foundations, PRiSM, P5, management planning, reporting, governance, and communications. Adjust the pace to your exam date and prior sustainability background.

Four-pass plan

  1. Orientation: read the overview, syllabus, and all chapter landings.
  2. Learning pass: work through each section lesson and write down the decision cues, artifacts, and common traps.
  3. Review pass: use the cheat sheet and revisit weak domains, especially any topic where you cannot explain the evidence needed before making a sustainability claim.
  4. Practice pass: answer scenario questions, review explanations, and classify misses by domain and decision error.

Weekly pacing

  • Week 1: Foundations of sustainable project work and PRiSM life-cycle structure.
  • Week 2: P5 structure, impact analysis mechanics, product lenses, process lenses, and people impacts.
  • Week 3: Planet, prosperity, materiality, sustainability management planning, KPIs, procurement, reporting, governance, and communications.
  • Final days: cheat sheet, sample questions, missed-question log, and targeted rereads of weak lesson pages.

Miss-log categories

Classify every missed practice question by the mistake you made:

  • missed materiality or affected stakeholder
  • accepted an unsupported claim
  • chose communication before evidence
  • ignored the right project artifact or governance owner
  • treated a sustainability objective as too vague or too narrow
  • confused PRiSM phase work with P5 impact analysis
