PMI CSPP Syllabus & Domain Map

Official-source-aligned PMI CSPP scope map with domains, topic order, and study priorities.

On this page

This syllabus map converts the PMI CSPP curriculum into the public PMExams reading path. It is not a replacement for official PMI eligibility or purchasing information, but it is the coverage checklist for the guide.

Domains and lessons

  • Foundations of Sustainable Project Work (17.8%): 5 lessons on objectives, triple-bottom-line thinking, frameworks, reporting logic, and resilience.
  • PRiSM Life Cycle (17.8%): 4 lessons on PRiSM concepts, phase application, plans, risks, cost, time, schedule, and supporting processes.
  • P5 Impact Analysis (35.6%): 11 lessons on P5 structure, impact mechanics, product and process lenses, people, planet, prosperity, materiality, and closure.
  • Sustainability Management Plan (17.8%): 5 lessons on standards, systems thinking, thresholds, KPIs, and sustainable procurement.
  • Reporting, Governance & Communications (11.0%): 3 lessons on communications, disclosures, materiality, reporting, and governance frameworks.

How to use the map

Read the higher-weighted areas with more repetition, but do not skip lower-weighted domains. Sustainability exams often integrate governance, reporting, stakeholder, and impact-analysis ideas across more than one domain.

Use the weights as a review signal, not as permission to ignore a domain. For example, P5 may be the largest single block, but reporting and governance questions can still depend on whether you understood P5 materiality, management-plan ownership, and PRiSM phase logic.
